    Here, I would like to suggest you 7 essential accessories which will add more efficiency in your routine workouts. These are small things but have great involvement in daily fitness routine and overall brings more utilities. While creating this list, I have removed all flimsy and fancy accessories which are merely meaningful. I also incorporated some tips which may help in buying these accessories for you.

1.     Sports Shoes

    First thing first, a good pair of sports shoes is utmost basic essential for workouts. While buying shoes always remember to choose right shoes for right activity. On many occasions I have seen people are wearing inappropriate shoes for their workouts. People tend to use trekking shoes/casual shoes for gym training or walking shoes for serious running activity and drills. In long run inappropriate shoes always leads to injuries. Therefore, always have right sports shoes in your arena to optimize your fitness efforts. 

Tips: - Always try to have more than one pair of sports shoes and wear them in rotation. So that, in case of damage to one pair you have standby and can use it. Remember that if you don’t have standby and have to wear a new pair than using of new shoes may lead to shoe bites.


2.     Gym Bag


    While you are going to gym or outdoor workout, a gym bag is required for carrying your essential items. Type/size of gym bag totally depends on person to person according to their field requirements. It will be beneficial to buy a gym bag that is light in weight and has extra pockets and compartments for shoes and wet items. So, pick a right gym bag that functions well for you.

Tip: - Always choose a bigger one having separate compartment to accommodate your electronic devices, supplements, liquid, shoes etc. 

3.     TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earbuds/ headphones

     

    Music definitely creates a rhythm response to elevate mood and motivation to keep the pace and tempo during workouts. So, it is favorable to have earbuds or headphone in your essential list. Earbuds are more preferred over headphones because they sit more secure in the ears during swift movements. Always try to pick lightweight earbuds which also should be splashproof at least. So, that they stay comfortable during workouts and work fine in sweaty conditions or in light rain.

Tip: - Choose sports earbuds with functionality of noise cancellations because you are going to use them inside crowdy gym stations or in outdoor.

4.     Water bottle


    Every one knows that water is stuff of life and it’s needed for every single metabolic process. The people who are involved in fitness activities consume supplements such as protein, creatine etc. their body needs plenty of water to digest them. Water detox body and increases protein synthesis which is required for building of  muscles. So, carrying water is nice habit and help you keeping hydrated during workouts. 

Tip:- Always choose BPA free water bottle and if bottle has thermos functionality than it will help to keep water temperature as desired.

5. Exercise Towel


    Exercise towels/gym towels are important part of keeping good hygiene. As a fitness enthusiast myself, I am very well aware that intense workouts can leave all sweaty. That is where you need gym towel. 

Tip : - always choose soft and quick dry exercise towel.

6.     Yoga mat


    Generally, gyms are equipped with yoga mats but having separate yoga mat for yourself have great advantage. Because you will remain more hygienic and you can also use them at home or outdoor exercises according to requirement. You can utilize yoga mat for stretching and abs workouts.

7.     Resistance bands


    Sure, the gym is full of dumbbells and machines. But resistance bands offer may benefit over standard weights. You can utilize them in home, gym or outside. These bands can be used for muscle stimulus as well as mobility and stretching.
